@pimoore You know, you're probably right that it's called a library chair, but I don't know. My husband has one in a wood finish. I was going for research carrel vibes, so a library chair is a good fit!
@kimberlyhirsh I pretty much lived in a library chair while in law school. It's somewhere between surprising and amazing how comfortable a wooden chair can be for hours and hours if you can wheel it around and tilt back.
@ReaderJohn I have to sit on a cushion but yes, it's quite comfortable!
