π Reagan Ray has collected a bunch of hand-lettered logos from Marvel comics pre-2000. My favorite series from this era is the 6 issue miniseries Kitty Pryde & Wolverine. Ray doesn’t have that logo, but I did grab a Kitty Pryde logo and a Wolverine logo to stick here.


πAlso, the Sesame Street Tiny Desk Concert made me tear up. πΊπ΅
π I highly recommend this video of the Yip Yip Invasion at Phoenix Comicon 2017, in which a group of cosplayers dress as The Martians from Sesame Street and hilarity ensues. πΊ

I’ve always been resentful of the trope where girls have to pretend to be boys to get stuff done, but Natalie Zutter’s piece about Leia disguising herself as Boushh especially the part about Padme subverting it, is a welcome fresh perspective. πΏπ
Improv as community/business/cult has a lot of problems that would require a radical new model to fix but improv as playful art form taught me a lot about the openness to unexpected conversation & skill for listening that Austin Kleon writes about here. π
π I somehow missed Linda Holmes’s beautiful piece about The Muppet Movie soundtrack. She pulls out the very lines that always makes me cry. ππΈπ΅
