I’m brewing 2 essays about Star Trek: The Next Generation: about Data, perfectionism, & imposter syndrome in “Peak Performance” (2x21) & about the relationship between research ethics & the Prime Directive in “Who Watches the Watchers” (3x04).
My kid asked me if he was a camper & I told him we could call our home a camp if he wanted and he named it LD Camp. It stands for Librarian Doctor Camp.
Years ago now, my sister gave M. a 3D printed Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service. Today I painted it as we watched Kiki.
I don’t believe being a librarian is A Calling but I do believe it is a disposition; it is one of my most prominent dispositions & as such my love language is providing information.
