I have a lot of thank yous to catch up on, and I will. But in the meantime, I highly recommend having most of your best friends at your dissertation defense if you can. It makes the whole thing celebratory.

Lt. Cmdr. DOCTOR Kimberly Hirsh here… I mean Data, whoops… I passed my dissertation defense! Yay me! And immense thanks to the people who attended. It felt great to have so much support.
This really does feel like waiting to go to the hospital to be induced. I hope the dissertation defense involves less back labor.
