Current status:

Elizabeth Minkel’s The Year of Loving Things Again, published in December 2017, resonates still. I myself have been reconnecting with Star Wars - mostly as a lurker. It’s been really fun.

I don’t want to spoil The Mandalorian finale much, so I’ll just say that technology used in its production seemed to be used more successfully here than in many other film projects. Also that I am a sucker for fan service so it was an effective finale for me.
