I’m having a really hard time processing this week’s episode of Picard, for personal reasons. One thing I will say, though, is they could use this to reasonably retcon Picard’s choice not to partner or father as rooted in fears about hurting his own children. 🖖🏻📺

In other news, Season 5 of TNG is stacked with memorable episodes. Darmok. Silicon Avatar. The Game. Ethics. The Innermost Light. Time’s Arrow. 🖖🏻📺

🖖🏻📺 This /Film review of #StarTrekPicard 2x07 verbalizes something that’s bothered me all season:

“Picard” has invented trauma for the character, just so there would be a reason for him to overcome it.

🖖🏻📺 I’m not trying to spoil anybody for #StarTrekPicard but I would squee if we saw Mulder & Scully in the next episode. It won’t happen, but let me live in my headcanon.
