Fellow academics, do you have a writerly identity? I told my artist BFF my 1st diss draft was garbage & she said “Lol so writing like art has garbage stages” & I thought “But my diss isn’t, like, WRITING writing.” Pretty silly way to think of my 50000-word creative work.
I have decided to go all-in on Star Trek. Especially TNG of course, but for the time being, I’m making Trek writ large my primary fandom.
